Please get in touch either by filling in the contact form or phone to check that I’m available on the day you want to get married.
I offer a no obligation coffee meeting at a convenient location for you so that you can get to know me a little before deciding that I’m a good fit for you both. I can answer all your questions at this time too regarding my services.

If you decide to book me to be your celebrant, you must submit a Notice of Intended Marriage form to me at least one month prior to your wedding day. I customarily assist my couples to fill out this form at our first or second meeting as it needs to be signed and witnessed. It is also really important that we get all your details right.
If you were born in Australia I will need to see an original birth certificate from the Office of Births Deaths and Marriages in your birth state. Unfortunately a certified scan/photocopy signed by a JP is not adequate. If you have lost your birth certificate, you can file for a replacement by following this link.
If you were born overseas, I will need to see your passport with your birth date on it. If you have your original birth certificate (translated into English if in a foreign language) this can also be used.
Bring your drivers’ licensed or photo ID so that I can cite those as well. I do need to see at least 1 form of photo ID for both of you.
By law I have to verify your identities before I am able to marry you.
If one or both of you have been married before, I will need to see your original divorce or spouse’s death certificate.
If you are under 18 years of age, we can discuss the laws around this when we meet as it may not be possible for me to marry you.
Amongst other things you will also be required to sign a declaration stating that there is no reason why the marriage cannot take place. Usually I ask my couples to sign this at the rehearsal or as close to the wedding day as possible.

To make sure I don’t book anyone else on your special day, you’ll be required to pay a non-refundable booking fee.
I will issue you with a tax invoice with my bank details once you have notified me that you want me to marry you and you can then pay using electronic bank transfer or cash if you prefer.
The remainder of my fee can be paid anytime up to 48 hours before the ceremony is due to take place.
